Dick Twist is a minor character who appears in the series 3 episode, It Was Panning. He is a loan officer from the local bank, and he meets with Miranda to discuss the recent failure of the the joke shop but she is put off momentarily by his name.

Her meeting with Dick Twist ends with an ultimatum; come up with a business manager, a comprehensive business model, or face foreclosure in three days time. When introduced to Penny as a managerial candidate, he said she was as incompetent as Miranda. When Stevie was finally brought back into the shop, he allowed that the maraca fitness proposal might be worth a loan.
