Miranda Hart (whose real name is Miranda Katharine Hart Dyke, born 14th December 1972) is the British comedienne best known for her creation of Miranda, which also stars her as the main character.

Early life

Born in Petersfield, Hampshire, Miss Hart attended an independant girls' boarding school in Downe House, Berkshire, sports presenter Claire Balding being her head girl.
